RE: Wrexham - Tony godden - 02-14-2026 A lot of experts on here commentating on what's going to happen to Wrexham. Fair play to them I say, at least they have hope and ambition, which is more than can be said about our shambles of a club. Wrexham just got lucky with minted owners, when they leave their ‘success’ goes with them. RE: Wrexham - Old Fart - 02-14-2026 They’re still in the cup but best to worry about what might happen in five years time rather than enjoy it You must be great fun to live with. I thought you were the biggest advocate on here if the raising of revenue being essential? You don’t seem to enjoy anything Albion or anything football related. Ambition would be nice after decades of bare minimum at what ever level we were at. Almost every other club seem to have had, relevant to their level, owners pouring money into them whether it be on the team or infrastructure/new stadiums. Many clubs have been lucky enough to have had multiple benefactors and enough of it ended badly they at least enjoyed the ride and dared to dream and hope they could archive a cup or European journey. Albion have only ever had to generate their own income and we have always had to dampen down any real hopes and lofty ambitions. Now we have this shambles and are as far away than ever as a club with real ambition and non of us know anything about if the owners have any? |
