I'm quick enough to moan, so here is a compliment;
It's been England's day. I feel like today has seen a good balance between batting sensible(ish) (Nowhere near as reckless as Edgbaston) but aggressively, too. If we carry on this rate and bat out tomorrow we should have a 100plus run lead with two days to try and force a win, which would be incredible given where we were at Stumps yesterday.
Yes, we've rode our luck, and yes there's still a long way to go until we can really count ourselves in the game, but it's looking more positive today than yesterday. The pitch is obviously a good wicket and I think I got carried away with cloud cover and assumed it was a 180 all out wicket!
See, as soon as I'm positive we throw a bastard wicket away. This is why I'm a miserable cunt.

Not actually sure Pope threw his wicket away there. He anticipated the ball, was set for the shot and just didn't execute. He toe ended it. If he middles that, it's a huge 6.

Can't understand this gung ho approach against a top bowling attack. 3 or 4 singles an over would still give a decent run rate.
