RE: Running Clique - Midget In A Pinstripe Suit - 05-19-2024 Busy week but out earlier this morning, but what a day for it. Wasn’t too warm earlier and now it’s banging. RE: Running Clique - UCEbaggie - 07-05-2024 Anyone doing the Wolves to Brum half marathon tomorrow? I’m off at 9am. Goes along the canal two path and finishes at Brindley Place RE: Running Clique - BeijingBaggie - 07-05-2024 Best of luck UCE! RE: Running Clique - Lightnin - 07-06-2024 Hate the race, find it very tight and hard to get past people at some points. Well done on finishing. RE: Running Clique - Midget In A Pinstripe Suit - 07-09-2024 Been out for 3 weeks with a torn hammy, bruising was horrendous but done plenty of resting, and built up to walking without pain and then some swimming without pushing it at all as didn't want to risk re-injuring it. Think I feel up to trying running on it but certainly not looking to cover any serious distance, maybe a couple of K to start. Goes along the canal two path and finishes at Brindley Place I did this. First time I'd ever done it and was relatively impressed, other than the swampy detour at ten miles. How did you get on UCE? RE: Running Clique - Midget In A Pinstripe Suit - 07-17-2024 Tested the hammy with a leisurely 2k this lunch, felt a bit tight to start even with extra stretching so eased off and got through with seemingly no issues. Give it a few days rest and try a similar distance again I reckon. I've picked up a number of injuries from walking including a hamstring injury. As I didn't want to rest up after a hamstring injury, I bought one of these supports and it worked a treat and I was able to continue to go out walking long distances. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Support-Bandage-Adjustable-Compression-Hamstring/dp/B01N1HGESN/ref=sxin_14_pa_sp_search_thematic_sspa?content-id=amzn1.sym.9ea77061-3856-4915-ba5a-1789eb050ca3%3Aamzn1.sym.9ea77061-3856-4915-ba5a-1789eb050ca3&crid=3ULX470V4SYSC&cv_ct_cx=hamstring+support&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.A66JlmUuMz03RXcwGjdriEqtuId0uWeRiM7wFhjsvsMmA0aC2E3p5rz8SiP_S9UU3cprhkdw5KKeSvh6I5rJMg.hTfi906_fjp9yZBkXjj9V6Ef-iCsaqgb7aVTt3NYO9w&dib_tag=se&keywords=hamstring+support&pd_rd_i=B01N1HGESN&pd_rd_r=12e60df2-2730-4c27-979e-b49f4323b46c&pd_rd_w=aOcUy&pd_rd_wg=vGYTb&pf_rd_p=9ea77061-3856-4915-ba5a-1789eb050ca3&pf_rd_r=YSADZVNQN3NBC3C16R9M&qid=1721218524&sbo=Tc8eqSFhUl4VwMzbE4fw%2Fw%3D%3D&sprefix=hamstring+suppoert%2Caps%2C284&sr=1-2-afc897cd-39ee-4645-9a5c-ccf1056c9fee-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9zZWFyY2hfdGhlbWF0aWM&psc=1 RE: Running Clique - Midget In A Pinstripe Suit - 07-19-2024 Was going to try going out today but it's too fuggin hot down here. |
