Yup held Levante completely at arms length for the whole game… 1-0 win, goalie didn’t make a save, and they didn’t have a serious attempt on goal.

Classic Carlos.

I used to absolutely love watching us do that to other times. We'd make it look effortless too. Leeds and Ipswich at home were two very good examples of that.

To be fair, if you just watch the opposition against us most weeks you’ll see it!

Levante did actually have a great chance with a few minutes to go when the Valencia keeper ran out of goal in a moment of madness.

But otherwise they controlled the game.

They also had a goal disallowed for offside and I couldn't see where the offside was.

I rest my case. I said after he got booked he will see red.

RE: Corberan Watch - Old Fart - 12-03-2025

It looks like he is beginning to make progress - last five games  loss - loss - draw - win - draw.

Now up to 15th on 14 points, two ahead of the bottom three,  and one win away from 10th which shows how crowded the mid table is.

Next game at home on Sunday to Sevilla who are just two points ahead.

RE: Corberan Watch - Jacko - 12-07-2025

Stoppage time equaliser from Hugo Duro gives Valencia a point at home to Sevilla. They are 15th with 15 points from 15 games. #symmetrical

Could be all over for him tonight, derby with Diangana’s Elche…

This is the kind of game that has a CC 2-0 win all over it, but recent form suggests that might be a long shot.

RE: Corberan Watch - MrFizz - 01-10-2026

Valencia just gone a goal down to Elche on 75mins. Guessxwho may have got Carlos the sack? Grady!

Valencia equalise from the spot. Handball by..........Diangana.

Also very getting sacked in the morning I fear, having now gone 6 games without a win and in the relegation zone. The stats suggest Valencia were dominant, but they're severely lacking an end product.

They were dominant last week in a 4-1 defeat. I think he's fine for now.
