Wouldn’t know. I wish him well but in truth I haven’t really been following. That would explain it, if so.

They did, gutted the squad of its talent pretty much.

Plus they need money to pay for the much needed stadium rebuild. Lunatic owner. History aside, it's a coaches nightmare there.

He'll still get them out of it, Duro made his return yesterday, and it was Madrid away after all. Can't imagine he's under any real pressure, most of the SM vitriol directed at the owner.

Correct - he’s still seen pretty favourably by their fans, was looking on socials today and even Marca has been quite complimentary. He lost a lot of quality in the summer and they’ll probably lose Guerra in January to keep the bills paid.

As we’ve seen, Carlos is a master at squeezing out the points to achieve whatever goal he’s set, they’ll be fine come May.

Massive one tonight - local derby with Levante at home… if they lose it, Levante will go above them in the league and put them into the bottom 3, and I’d imagine will really ramp up the pressure on him.

Victory will put them up in mid table and give them some breathing space.

This has routine CC 2-0 win all over it IMO. Especially after having 2 weeks of training ground time!

What a goal, thought this had 0-0 written all over it.

Classic Corberán 1 - 0.

Yup held Levante completely at arms length for the whole game… 1-0 win, goalie didn’t make a save, and they didn’t have a serious attempt on goal.

Classic Carlos.

I used to absolutely love watching us do that to other times. We'd make it look effortless too. Leeds and Ipswich at home were two very good examples of that.
