Will he ever get the gig of being the “favourite” and have to manage a team with expectations and expansive football? Be interesting to see how he would adapt. Ok RE: Corberan Watch - Jacko - 10-25-2025 Tough match tonight vs 'The Yellow Submarine'. They appear to be without star forward Hugo Duro too. Valencia are now 17th. RE: Corberan Watch - tHEgLASSdOORS - 10-26-2025 Get him gone RE: Corberan Watch - Jacko - 11-02-2025 While we were barely laying a glove on the Owls yesterday, CC endured a sobering trip to the Santiago Bernabeu, where Valencia were hammered 4 nothing in front of 75 thousand. Levels. They've dropped into the bottom 3, running below 1ppg. Two winnable home games next up though. RE: Corberan Watch - wba13 - 11-02-2025 Dropping like a stone.Corberan on borrowed time. He will be sacked soon. RE: Corberan Watch - Peachofacross - 11-02-2025 (11-02-2025, 02:24 PM)wba13 Wrote: Dropping like a stone.Corberan on borrowed time. He will be sacked soon. I'd have him back in a heartbeat. Won't happen mind... RE: Corberan Watch - HawkingsHalfpint - 11-02-2025 Corberan turned us around impeccably, but did run into trouble. That spate of draws divided a lot of us, and although I didn’t want to see the back of him I was highly critical of his approach sometimes. He almost seemed to do better when he had less options to choose from, and with his back against the wall. But clearly he’s a young and ambitious workaholic, whose limitations I’m sure he can rectify. I can’t imagine he’s the sort of character who isn’t self-critical, and after last season I’m surprised to see him struggling. Without following too closely, I wonder what’s going wrong there, after such a bright start? And (with a very large release clause attached this time), would it be beyond the realms of fantasy to get him back, should things not work out there…? I wouldn’t be averse. RE: Corberan Watch - Merkinagogo - 11-02-2025 Didn't they sell their best players in the Summer? |
