RE: Corberan Watch - Tom Joad - 09-14-2025 (09-14-2025, 09:39 PM)Jacko Wrote: Finished now. Played Barca 3 times in 9 months. 7-1 and 6-0 in the Camp Nou, 5-0 at the Mestalla. They've only lost one other game by more than a 1 goal margin, a 3 nil home defeat to an Alvarez inspired Atletico. Is about it. CC is a proper manager that does what he can with what he's got. The criticism from a few on here became laughable . After a few games in his absence ,they got all the goal action they wanted but at the wrong end. Give him a different squad and I think he would play to another tune. It's in the past now but I'd like to have seen him manage after another couple of windows. RE: Corberan Watch - Baggiedownunder - 09-15-2025 Crowd was under 6,000 according to the BBC. Is that right or a typo? They were playing at the Johan Cruyff Stadium, not the Camp Nou RE: Corberan Watch - SW4Baggie - 09-15-2025 (09-15-2025, 06:59 AM)Borin' Baggie Wrote:(09-15-2025, 06:54 AM)Baggiedownunder Wrote: Crowd was under 6,000 according to the BBC. Is that right or a typo? The Camp Nou was meant to have reopened but is way behind schedule - went past it last week and it’s not opening any time soon! They’ve not been able to renew the lease on the Olympic stadium, and Espanyol basically told them to fuck off when they asked to ground share, so they’re having to use their reserve stadium for the time being. Is that right or a typo? They’re trying to get the permits to open part of the stadium but it’s not going well… think they asked the league to move some of their home games to away ones but with the way they’ve behaved with their finances, they don’t have a lot of good will! Is that right or a typo? Using the same building company as that used by the Sagrada Familia. RE: Corberan Watch - Sliced - 09-20-2025 Drawing at home to Bilbao but getting absolutely battered |
