Winger is interesting. Wallace to go? Or Grady cover?

Or Tom, of course.

He did say it was before the news of bids about Tom came out

Wonder if the Grady injury is really bad and so this is a reaction to that

If it is a shoulder injury he could be out for 3-4 months.

Understand Johnston is set to be, as things stand, the final recruit of Albion's window. That is bar any major exits and the club don't envisage that. Striker was a target but no way Corberan could look beyond a Johnston permanent return. #wba

Trust CC. That's all I say. He knows his onions.

Maybe the form of Grant and Maja has affected his plans and deemed the striker less urgent.
Judging on last season, Mikey brings a bigger goal threat than Fellows, Swift, Grady and Styles which has likely also played a part.

Weve got an "Eya we gew" from Dood!

Apparently CC sees him as a forward option too.

Think you're right Bob. Grant has come back into the fold determined to show he's worth a place in the team. It's been like a new signing, similar to Mowatt and Kipre last season.

Hopefully we can see similar impacts from the players we send out on loan this season too.

Whilst I would have liked another 9 for sure - maybe the thought is around Grant. He seems to have made a big turn around and CC does give players a chance to prove themselves.

We do really have to hope for Maja to stay fit otherwise Grant and Cole as our only two options over a long period would be a worry

Could all change of course over the next 2 days - anything can happen still
