Personally, I think he suffered the in the same way as Mikey.
Beat a player, look who to pass to, nobody wants it, forced to keep it and tackle the next player - or the same player - lose the ball.
Not always, obviously, but enough to not completely blame the player.
For us olduns, I remember Richard Sneekes often suffering like this. He was made to look profligate when nobody made the obvious run - it looked like he had passed it straight to the opposition.

If he had better vision, he could play at the very highest level, because his ability to drag players out of position is exceptional, but too often, he misses the run and ends up losing the ball or looking for a foul. Spain may suit him better, but I think this will always be a flaw of his.
That being said, I will be surprised if CC comes in for him.

Looks like he’s in for a tough summer as the realities of Valencia’s financial situation bites!
He’s already lost his goalie to Liverpool, now looks like star midfielder Guerra and star defender Mosquera are heading to United and Arsenal respectively.
Quite a few of their key players last season were loans too - will need to be at his best again this year as not sure how much of the money they raise he’ll see!

I got why he couldn't resist Valencia, but do feel it was a bit from frying pan into fire, we're coming out the other end now a bit, but Valencia are a long way from that
