England winning with late wicket drama with Aus needing a handful of runs to win.
Aus winning with plenty of runs to spare.
Aus winning with 1 wicket remaining.
Aus blocking out for a draw.
Wash out.

All the above could happen.

And a tie

That’s my 4th option. Don’t happen often

The highest ever 4th innings score to win a Test at Edgbaston is 283 (by South Africa) and very few teams have successfully chased more than 150.

Australia’s extra 175 required are a long way away, but if ever there was a time for Australia to create history (beating their own highest ever winning score there) it’s tomorrow with England probably having to rely on Root if it’s turning.

I’m still predicting an England win but the margin might well be less than 20 runs

Yeah I see it as an England win, between 20 and 60 runs.

A draw if the predicted weather is correct.

A lot of these 'highest 4th innings total to win a test' at most venues will be smashed in the forthcoming years. I'm not necessarily suggesting that will happen at Edgbaston tomorrow, but I don't put much stock into those stats due to how many shots batsmen can play and how deep most teams now bat. For example Broad came in at 10 for us who has a test century and is a more than decent batter. The game has changed so much in the last five years or so.

It wasn't so long ago a par ODI score was 250, now it's 350. That's how many sides approach their final Test innings now, as a one day game!

Always forget a tie as an option. It can't happen often in a Test match?

Nah, rain is blowing across in the morning, they’ll start late but there should be enough time for a win either way.

Did England not get 378 in the 4th dig to win the Edgbaston Test last year?

Not sure about that.  A red ball, a 5th day pitch and no fielding restrictions make it very hard to play it like a white ball 50-over chase with fielding restrictions on a new wicket.
