Nobody is paying £350m for them any time soon

Aren't they selling portions of equity anyhow as opposed to selling out anything substantial. ASC bought 10% I believe.

Might find they actually manage to extract a decent sum by breaking it down and due to bigger companies wanting to be involved with the circus.

£350m is crazy high though I agree.

It’s the only way they’ll maintain their Netflix/USA income AND exit the club- by being minority shareholders/chief cheerleaders.

I’m ambivalent about their success. They’re definitely making a better fist of it - as supposed amateurs- than our ‘experienced’ owner and Departed President have managed.

Aye - we're gonna find out how serious the Patels really are this summer. I fear not as much as we would like...but lets see.

On the plus side at least our stands are proper and not the brick shithouse that Wrexham are building.

You know the marketing is working when you live in California and find Wrexham Lager on the shelves of your local liquor store (I believe Reynolds and co bought the brewery).

And no, I wouldn't drink the stuff if you paid me.

Buying the brewery & not the pub is very clever business & great for the town. Good luck to them.

I too value a well structured balance sheet,  assets well in excess of liabilities, tax up to date,  massive retained profits and minimal depreciation amortized at a sustainable level with directors' loans of insignificant cause for concern.  This  is what really turns me on and makes me get up at five in the morning to drive to Norwich for a 12:30 start.

God forbid that I should get excited or emotional about this sort of crap

Just saw some of the Robbie Savage at Macclesfield thing, £4m to get things ready for the 9th tier!! Team wages of around £150k per year.

The game really has gone.

It is well worth watching regardless of the football.  The fans have had a shit time of 15 years in the National League and were bust for years until the the Rob and Ryan duo turned up.

They then employed clever people in key commercial  positions.   and invested steadily and carefully and in effect have now turned Wrexham into a global brand.

People come from all over the world to buy a pint in The Turf pub where the club was founded.  Merchandise sales must be huge and the income from Disney will be substantial.

The promotion year with Ben Foster in goal is great viewing.

Putting aside any instinct to pour vitriolic envy on a plastic USA media inspired  bullshit fairy story, their fans are not dissimilar to us. They have had a load of shit to deal with, they have maintained the faith and truly love their club.  Any one of us could identify with the long suffering fans that feature in various episodes.

I doff my hat to manager  Phil Fucking Parkinson.  I doubted he had the nouse to create a winning team in this league, but take a look at where they are and where we are in the league.

Finally, what the media exposure has done for the town is truly inspiring.  Businesses have opened, the town centre is buzzing, there is a sense of optimism and any true football fan who had the piss taken out of them at the age of 6 because they did not support a Saudi mafia owned corrupt apology for a club, will look on with benevolent envy and wish them well.

It's on Disney+  it is a great watch.

I agree with this. My Canadian cousins even came over to visit Wrexham! I bare them no ill will, and Ryan and the other guy seem like decent chaps.

You sound like a viler. I did say that Wrexham aren’t going away. Lots forecast a relegation battle for them and Blues. They are going to be a pain for a while. Championship level revenue in League Two. History means little with how they’re operating

Well no one's ever accused me of that before.  I couldn't care less about any other club, it's simply sarcasm.
