My lad had a series of operations when he was younger to remove growths from within his ear. The first one he went in for the missus stayed that first night and I drove home and then that came on the radio. Should have pulled over as it got me in a bit of a mess. Songs in a similar vein that I find incredibly powerful are both arrangements by Ralph Vaughan Williams - Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis, and Fantasia on Greensleeves. Both massively uplifting and inspiring. On a very personal level I’d have to say Edelweiss, my mom’s favourite song from The Sound Of Music. When it was played at her funeral it just wiped everybody out.
