RE: Norwich FA Cup Match Fred - HawkingsHalfpint - 02-14-2026 Yep. But seriously - if we win next week he gets some badly-needed credit. I said Mason is just about in credit a few times (and look what happened there - it wasn’t an unfair sacking either). I’m yet to say it about Ramsay. Let’s hope that begins next week - this certainly isn’t over yet, and as losing games goes, today was a meaningless one to lose. But this side should not be getting relegated. This league can be utter dross at times despite its competitiveness, and it’s all about who’s least inconsistent. Whereas we are - all too often - consistently shite. We have some ok players but the balance is shocking as is the lack of pace and basic technical ability. Unfortunately, the warning signs were there last season yet we sold three of our better players in the summer and not one was replaced. The recruitment was pathetic quite frankly. RE: Norwich FA Cup Match Fred - HawkingsHalfpint - 02-14-2026 Not much we can do about that now though, sadly. And, I suppose, at least the chap overseeing it all fell on his sword.
