I understand we needed to reduce the wage bill but the money we have spent on replacements has been wasted. There isn’t one player and I include Price and Johnson that I’d say wouldn’t sell in the summer.

Not sure we have the ability to get out of this relegation battle because I’m not sure we can score enough goals.

The least said about the club decision making be it squad or manager this season the better.
I would keep Styles. Agree re the others.

Yeah that’s him. It’s an uncanny likeness don’t you think?

Yes. Styles is useful, versatile and committed. Well worth hanging onto.

So predictable that we’d go out with a whimper today though you may have thought ER might have tried to have a free shot at winning a game rather than waste the first half with negative garbage.
Really, he’s looking as clueless as Mason as to how to run games and, unless you win games you ain’t staying up.
Blackburn immediately get a new manager boost and thier win negates our recent draws.

There is no such thing as a free shot at winning a game. One to file alongside ""front foot football" in the lexicon of football fan bollocks.

I wasn’t following it extremely closely as I needed to take my daughter out at 5 but what were the subtle tactical changes?

I did see the second and third goals. The second looked like it occurred when we were on top and they broke away as Mowatt was on a yellow so couldn’t foul the guy. They switched it and our shite loan full back backed off rather than challenging and Diakite looked like he was a central midfielder moved to CH as we wanted to protect Bielik as we have so many injuries at CH?

Mohamed Toure - 5 goals in 3 games.
Why can't we pick up strikers like that?
On the other hand - they would completely lose form playing for this shower!  Angry

And that’s that. 3-1. This moron is no better than the last one. I don’t know what our hiring criteria is but it must improve.

Grant you the manager looks out his depth ,but these players are getting away with murder. They are just not good enough and we have to except it .

Corberan seemed to be doing better with a seemingly similar side on paper? Granted, the pre-season losses were a big blow, but as Wolves have shown if you don’t strengthen where you sell, what do you expect?

Although he only won 3 of his last 16 games in charge.

For those who were prepared to look, the clues of how average at this level we had become were there to see that autumn.

The lack of goalscorers, our propensity to concede late goals and our inability to change games positively from the subs bench.

Corberan is a good manager at this level, and he had the ability to still make us hard to beat, but we were no longer winning games at the rate we needed.

This season the squad is weaker, quality players have left and not been replaced by players of the same quality, plus to be fair we have had a lot of injuries we can ill afford. And a muddled summer transfer window has left us vulnerable.

But we should still have enough to avoid relegation.

Though it would need a stellar summer transfer window to make us competitive in a promotion race next season.
You won’t find a bigger Carlos fan than me but he had Palmer, Heggem, Fellows and Bartley. None have been replaced.

I wouldn’t disagree. Carlos had more balance and experience at his disposal, too. But this side should not be getting relegated. This league can be utter dross at times despite its competitiveness, and it’s all about who’s least inconsistent. Whereas we are - all too often - consistently shite.

A decent manager gets us out of this, no problem. But we got Ramsay instead, who I assume was available for 8 tokens and a completed application card.

All that said, if he’s right and we beat Cov next week (can’t see it happening but you never know), then that would be an enormous first win under the belt.

Considering the starting 11, wern't that bad today, and after we equalised we were on top, gifted them the first goal, and their second came against the run of play. Bostock did well, Cov up next, and we always beat them!
