I really don't have a clue where they go from here. Starmer and Reeves are prisoners of a Parliamentary party that hasn't got the stomach for reform. Which is of course, what we'll end up with.

We will now have a second consecutive summer of speculation about who gets taxed, when and where. Businesses and individuals need certainty, not political games.

CGT allowance reduction was a gift from Sunak. One of the most under the radar tax changes I’ve ever known. Imagine the press if Reeves would have tried to do that.
