I've been hybrid working in the office since June, what are you on about?

I imagine they used it as an excuse to not have to see Proth in person.

It looks like there aren’t as many callous and selfish xxxxs as he thinks… and all to save a lying, conniving, deceitful yob

I don't particularly disagree but I wouldn't rely on a YouGov poll for anything.

God forbid flu ever makes a return eh Dekka?

I think Proth has reverted to full wind up merchant. We're moving out of this sensibly, whatever made up restrictions you think are still affecting you. This will be with us forever (much like the other respiratory diseases such as flu) and we will need to take precautions such as regular jabs going forward. It is still a threat that we need to treat with respect.

I do think the post above about being 'ordered by the state to work from home' does show how far spyro some people have gone on this. The culture on twitter is toxic and that type of discourse has bled into the wider world leading to people moaning and protesting about jabs while the government strip away their real freedoms through voting reform and 'taking back control' mantras.

He laughs about it on Twitter

Do I? I deactivated my account some time ago.

Apologies if I am mistaken. However you have been on a wind up previously surely?

I actually deactivated Twitter for most of the pandemic.

Big falls across the board for the numbers in hospital over the last 7 days. All of the regions have reported falls in numbers ranging from 9% in the South East to 19% in the North East and Yorkshire. Overall we have just over 10k in hospital now and as we head into the spring months things are looking good.

Utterly contemptible given his position.

I'm afraid your visceral and slightly unhinged hatred of Boris Johnson is blinding you to the fact that tens of millions of people want to get back to normal, not a few right wingers on the Tory back benches. If Boris was interested in the slightest in appeasing the right of the Tory Party he wouldn't be embarking on the expansion of the state and increasing taxes to their highest level since the 1950s.

His rant, at me, is just more of his usual diversion tactics.

He ignores the point of my post re the parlous epidemic state of tens of thousands of children’s mental (not to mention the increasing deterioration in their behaviour in school)

He ignores the fact hundreds of thousands of people are being denied treatment at present and as B1 has pointed out, much needed, visitation when they do get into hospital.

No, he focuses on one word, selfish, which he banded about in the first place.

So, the countless number of people and their families who desperately require medical or physiological intervention are all  “Selfish” but not him!

So, he claims to have put me on ignore (this is the fourth time); Not wanting to subject his opinions to rigorous and adult debate, just have his views heard and no other. How selfish is that?
