With that in mind I'd be inclined to leave the official announcement until Monday. There's seven days in a calendar week and all I'm bothered about is that it goes through without further complication. They can leave it until next Thursday for all I care, it's not like we're at home to Coventry on Friday or anything.
As it was said with certainty last week that the takeover would be completed this week, I think lots of people will get rather twitchy if nothing is announced this week!
It's got so bad that WBA13 has learned what his F5 button is for.

Athletic are now suggesting that Patel is paying just £2.5m up front with an extra £2.5m in August and £5.5m in August 2025.
Lai only gets the full £28m should we go up this season - which means Patel would pay the extra £18m
If we don't go up this year but go up in the following years, payment amount decreases as the years go on (£10m if we go up next season, £5m if it's the season after etc etc)

As long as the debts are repaid, otherwise we have a guy buying the club for £2.5M up front. What could possibly go wrong?

Also add into that probably a 15m cash flow injection that was needed just to get to next season
