Sounds like the new owner has taken a leaf out of Jezzas book and fuck all slips out until the deal is done, which is the way it should be

Go on point out our budgets etc...

Who would you like to see us linked with? Not being a dick, just genuinely asking. I'm not sure who we could tempt above that level that's currently available.

I’m just intrigued why people are doing mental gymnastics to argue Williams is a great fit, but have dismissed Eustace for example. Not seeing much difference in terms of achievements.

Putting them side by side I’d say Eustace probably has a better record.

Eustace is someone I hope we’re looking at or should I say is looking at us.

I don’t think he’ll leave BB though.

Lives in Sutton so you never know.

Blackburn owned by the Venky’s or WBA on his doorstep and from what we can tell decent owners.

I’d be more than happy if that turned out to be the case.

I actually think they’re playing the game better.

Controlling lots that goes out. More than people think.
Some red herrings. Some tactical. Meanwhile the real work is done and only 3-4 people actually know the truth. Issue is nearly always agents or disappointed candidates. They’ll happily spill if it helps their cause.

Brunt is bigging up Abella in the E and D. Internal promotion?

RE: The managerial shortlist - Squid - 01-03-2025

The fact that everything is so quiet makes me think it is someone in a job. Someone on .com swear we've talked to Lowe and Moyes, which would mean we're looking at a British manager.
Cooper is apparently on gardening leave.

I think it might still be John Eustace.

I know it's only the twitter but Pipo Inzaghi (Pisa manager) added to the long list of rumoured names.

I'd be more than happy with Moyes. I can't see him coming to us.

This was the impression I got too

Phenomenal record in Serie B…
He’s the type of appointment I expect.

Pisa also one of the few Italian cities that moving to Birmingham for work may appeal.
