RE: Takeover - CarlosCorbewrong - 11-10-2023 Ah good, it's been a while since we had some casual racism on here... RE: Takeover - NewWanker - 11-10-2023 My money is now on us getting taken over by the Dozy fraud.... That would be just our luck, sounds like he would speak Lai's business language. My Nigerian Prince comment is probably the closest and that's based on the well known Nigerian prince email scams that have been around for years, where Nigerian could be replaced with any other place where such schemes are famously known for originating... Only 48 hours or so before we get a refresher id imagine RE: Takeover - Fulham Fallout - 11-10-2023 (11-10-2023, 07:10 AM)ColliersWoodBaggie Wrote: Hopefully not fit and proper and well down the race. They’ll photoshop Ronaldo’s head onto Mulumby ‘s, claiming a new signing. It’s a good job there isn’t corruption in football at the highest level.
RE: Takeover - Brentbaggie - 11-10-2023 I have a very good friend whose surname is Gbadebo - father's a Nigerian, mother a Geordie - who has forever claimed he was a Nigerian Prince and his sister a princess. Well, as it turns out my mate - whose father split from his mother early in his life - was contacted by said pal when he was in his early 30's and got invited over to Nigeria. Lo and behold his dad WAS a Nigerian Prince and he and sister were treated royally for the week; dances, parties, dinners celebrating their return to the homeland, trips to the ancient family home (not a castle). The only downbeat aspect to, ahem Prince Gbadebo's title is that there are apparently thousands of quite legitimate Nigerian Princes - so he's not quite as special as he thinks he is. Still, it's not necessarily the prefix for a scam it always appears! The dad of one of my sister's mates at school was a Nigerian prince too, Nigerian royalty to council estate.... It's a fairly common thing as you say. Just a scam when they're offering you a share of many millions of dollars I guess... unless they're all genuine too, would explain this Dozy fella being a billionaire since nobody takes him up on his offers i guess? Is Dozy’s surname Pillock? RE: Takeover - Mr vertical - 11-10-2023 Akabusi is a Nigerian prince. There was a Nigerian guy in our halls at uni who claimed to be a prince, and again it turns out he was right. |
