Well they wanted equality!

But doesn't this just prove what a pile of crap politics in this country is, Labour is opposition backs them then in government stuffs them. Tories in government stuffs them now in opposition backs them.

As they have also done for me. I knew about the increase in my pension age. I made it my business to.

Are you seriously telling me that 3.4 million women didn't know about this change?

Are you seriously telling me that we now have to fork out £10.4bn we don't have, to compensate their ignorance when this was all over the news, papers and they even received letters about it?

Knowing about it and having the financial clout to be able to do anything about it are two completely different things.

As I said before, the issues around having time to prepare for the changes is a valid one but does not mitigate the issue fully, hence why I have some sympathy.

25 years notice? Correct me if I'm wrong but introduced in 1993, law in 1995 enacted in 2018.

The coalition brought the changes forward. The argument is about whether they communicated it well enough. Try proving a negative for 3.4 million women in a court.
