Interesting that we're only 5 goals behind last season at this point. By then we'd destroyed QPR hadn't we, which accounts for the difference and more!
A Leeds fan i work with agreed that it was a lucky penalty, but that our player didn't dive.
Pretty sure we are the highest scorers in the land after the 75th minute too...

When i saw that sequence of games coming up, I was certain that we'd dip in form and lose a few.
Away to Stoke, Preston, Hull... those could easily have been defeats.
Same with Sheff W and Bristol too.
Yet we WON all FIVE !!!!!!

A snoop on the PNE board suggests they’re a very bunch.
We’re an average side, we were better last year, they deserved a point at least having bossed the second half... no mention of the reds Johnson and Stockley could have earned with a more competent ref, and general feeling is the ref gave us everything and couldn’t wait for the opportunity to hand us a win.... also seem obsessed with the fact we “only” brought 1500 fans for a Monday night match on TV when Leeds brought nearly twice that...

With fixtures piling up, suspensions and injuries building and a lot of games at unorthodox times due to TV coverage 10 points from 5 would have been a very good return IMO, and would have still seen us in the top 2. As it happens we’ve taken 15, and hopefully that’s a sign of the quality we have.
