There's a saying that most things in life you worry about never happen. As the doom-mongers insisted a few months ago it was written in the stars we'd be the biggest club in Britain to go out of business and those who didn't agree had our heads in the sand, this came to mind.

This is not to downplay it was a worrying time, but a new buyer was always the likely scenario.

Of course, we could still turn to dust and the hawthorns become a warehouse selling pork scratchings, but it seems more unlikely by the day.

I'm delighted this wasn't posted by CIM  Big Grin .

I’m not sure if you are referring to this, but I operate my life by it.

From a former Prime Minister - Arthur Balfour.

Nothing matters very much.
And few things matter at all.

Was thinking more of :- Michel de Montaigne said: "My life has been filled with terrible misfortune; most of which never happened

I suppose being involved in news and the media I've seen too much that people have got their knickers in a twist over in the past few decades.

By now we should all have died of AIDS, CJD or had our kidneys taken out after meeting a dodgy woman on a night out.

The level of irrational thinking on here by some was something to behold- there's one poster in particular I can think of, but I won't name him.

As I said at the time, we have very little power and have to see how it pans out.

However, I do believe Action for Albion's work certainly pushed things along and they have to be applauded. Take a bow Alistair and the boys.
