The speculation is literally because he is tall. RE: Summer Transfer Window Thread - Lurker#3 - 06-07-2022 James Bree being linked in the E&D this morning. Seems a steady sort of player. Very much in the Townsend (when playing well) mould. Yep. Definitely nowhere near the required level at the moment RE: Summer Transfer Window Thread - SW4Baggie - 06-07-2022 (06-07-2022, 09:30 AM)Lurker#3 Wrote: James Bree being linked in the E&D this morning. Think Bruce signed him at Villa, not sure he’s what we need… RE: Summer Transfer Window Thread - Sliced - 06-07-2022 Very much a championship player, although that's where we are. We can probably do better but if he's free and it means we aren't stuck with Furlong week in week out then im on board. RE: Summer Transfer Window Thread - Psalm23 - 06-07-2022 I think he'd be an improvement on Hurlong, & can also fill in at left back. RE: Summer Transfer Window Thread - wbamitch - 06-07-2022 He was 4th in the league for crosses last season, that stat alone is enough to sell me on him replacing Furlong. Wallace was also in the top 3 and those two would make a big difference to our right hand side RE: Summer Transfer Window Thread - SW4Baggie - 06-07-2022 (06-07-2022, 02:33 PM)wbamitch Wrote: He was 4th in the league for crosses last season, that stat alone is enough to sell me on him replacing Furlong.
