Cant play well

If Swift gets injured then there's arguably no one in that position (maybe Robinson...ish) so it's a yes from me

Undoubtedly has talent, maybe needs a fresh start.

Never rated him. I think he had one good season in the Prem but very much a passenger type player.
Nor me. I question whether we'd ever even have noticed him without the floppy blond hair and a Grealish headband.

Cantwell had a good season in their last promotion season too, but I agree he’s got distracted from football and seems to prefer the lifestyle it affords him now.

He is however direct, carries the ball quickly and is a player who gets you off your seat, which is something we’ve not had in a while and Bruce generally seems to be able to get the best out of a player like that in his systems.

RE: Summer Transfer Window Thread - Man from delmonte - 06-03-2022

Cantwell did nothing for Bournemouth whenever I saw him last season. I imagine Norwich would want a sizeable fee for him based on past reputation and I don't think he produces anything to warrant it. Definitely a player whose career is current on a downward trajectory. One to avoid.

Would be delighted with a loan to perm. Talented lad who does his best work around the oppos box.

I think there is legs in this Choudhury link from Leicester. Bruce wanted him when at Toon apparently.

Good player with lots still to prove. Decent age at 24 and good at breaking up play and keeping things simple. Would be very happy if we could get a loan to perm.

Yep. I think we need another midfielder too. A specialist sitter (In the Yok or Yac mould)

100% agree. A proper defensive midfielder, someone with energy (Molumby, Mowatt, TGH) to carry the ball forward and Swift/Wallace would make for one of the most balanced midfields in the league and would have genuine quality.

Choudhury fits the bill.

Choudhury's on £60 k per week, we could get Okay Yokuslu, & another 2 players for that.

Liverpool have told Ben Davies he can find a new club. Shame we are well stocked at CB position. If we could only offload Bartley he would be an ideal, long-term replacement.
