Are we the only team in the league that’s unbeaten at home?

Preston unbeaten at home. Won 7 of 9

We are 9th at home and top away

I know we have a better points haul away but we haven’t lost a home game yet.

Didn’t know Preston were unbeaten also.

RE: Unbeaten - Dumbo - 11-12-2019

No team in the top four tiers of English football has picked up more points away from home than us in 2019.

We're level with Manchester City and Bristol City for points gained on the road this calendar year (36).

PNE away one of a series of tough games coming up for us in the next few weeks

Yep but the home fixtures look tough as well and i think we will pick up more points away from home before the new year than we do at home .

RE: Unbeaten - Bloke who lives abroad - 11-14-2019

Looking back over recent years, you'd normally expect automatic promotion teams to lose about 7 or 8 games in a season. On average.

With a 1/3rd of the season gone... we've only lost 1 so far.

So we're likely to lose at least 6 or 7 of our remaining games. That's quite a few compared to so far. It'd be nice if we could bear that in mind and not go overboard with a few losses.

I also get the feeling that we could see a few of those defeats in the next few weeks. Then come really good again after the New Year.

Slightly distorted as we've played two less home games than away...

RE: Unbeaten - Dumbo - 11-16-2019

Fewest defeats in top 4 tiers this season;

@LFC 0
@WBA 1
@wwfcofficial 1

RE: WBA season stats 19/20 - The liquidator - 11-16-2019

I remember around 77/78/79 we were unlucky to lose 1 game at home and it would be a total shock cant remember what season it was that we only lost 1 at home .

Manc do your stuff

Or a combination of factors.

Birmingham retained neither of the players you’ve mentioned.

By “retain” I meant sign pro terms and stay for 2-3 years

The big point with Gray and Redmond is they both got first team action before being bought. They were given their chance which is imperative. We are losing ours before that and not being compensated.

In terms of Ferguson we've managed to get him in to the first team but how we've let his contract situation get to this situation is strange. I can only guess no one really rated him until Slav turned up and they suddenly thought 'shit he's about to run out of contract!'

Not ideal but we've only got ourselves to blame. We got him past the pro terms bit yet have still not done enough by the looks of it....
