According to Alan Nixon we are interested in Sorba Thomas but won’t pay the £1m asking price.
I suspect that until or unless we sell one or two players for cash we will continue to avoid paying out any more fees.

I was really surprised we didn’t even try for Thomas in Corberan’s first January window when he joined Blackburn on loan.
Not sure where he’d play in our present system, as he’s predominantly played as a right winger and occasionally as a striker under CC in the Wallace False 9 role.

More likely to end up at Derby but we are very much in the mix

Reports were the asking price was less than that, maybe there's been a bidding war. Good player, and cheaper than Mikey Johnston.
Edit: Forget that, I'd seen Thomas play a couple of times at left wing but it looks like that's rare.
