Cassierra was a highly rated Colombian kid that Ajax paid about £5m for a few years ago… didn’t develop as planned and joined a club in Portugal a year or so ago.
Had a decent season in their top flight, and is a big, strong striker… still very young and raw, and available for about a million. Would be a good option but would need someone else too IMO.
Dike is the obvious one, if we can get a loan to perm agreed. Imagine £2m or so loan fee with another £7-8m option like the Pereira deal.
Oh and André Gray is a 30 something homophobic, racist (FA charged for both!) former wannabe gangster who has been woefully overpaid and out of form for 2 seasons.

Almost the total opposite of the kind of player we need. Was an exciting prospect the first season we were linked with him ......about 5 years ago!!

Is it just me or is this summer one where we've seen the least transfer speculation around the Albion at all? I know most of it is normally nonsense but we don't even seem to have been linked to many players at all over the last month or so.

Whilst we aren't privvy to what's being said by VI to Ken, it does seem a little concerning he seems relatively content with what we have, whereas we all know we need 3 more bodies as a minimum for what will be a relentless season.

Val and the team are making things look shiny at the moment, but I'm still pretty concerned for the goings on behind the scenes
