Erm….why on earth would you commit £110m to buy a 9.5% minority stake? That would value the club at over a billion pounds.  It isn’t worth more than £30m for an 88% stake.

CF is an utter self publicist.

Really hope this is another token bid - like Burnley and Charlton

All I can say is they were involved a while back but as we know not the preferred bidder. What I don’t know but very much interpret is that this has been leaked for a reason and the process is slow cos the owners fuck about a bit and want to squeeze every drop they can out of it. My opinion, not knowledge, is that it won’t be these people and has never been likely to be.

Sounds the most likely scenario.

I bow to your knowledge on this stuff Prag but from my reading of the article it's a £5m stake for 9.5%. The rest just seems to be showing the money is available to run the club.

RE: Takeover - CaptainFantastico - 01-29-2024

What the BBC have revealed isn’t really anything new. As I said a while back I can see why journos think those lot are serious players

RE: Takeover - foreveralbion - 01-29-2024

If any of that article is near the the truth then id have the thought the £15m needed to cover immediate running costs is the biggest concern?
