And it's a done deal, Derek?

No idea. I could pretend to be itk like a few on here and say yes if you like Wink

Sounds like desperate late manoeuvring to me. BBC just 'happen' to get sight of a proof of funds document from the guy who is well behind the preferred bidder.

Erm….why on earth would you commit £110m to buy a 9.5% minority stake? That would value the club at over a billion pounds.  It isn’t worth more than £30m for an 88% stake.

I really hope you are right. This Farnell guy is a proper chancer and I've come to despise Hearn without ever actually having met him.

RE: Takeover - Jack Halford - 01-29-2024

We really will be screwed if these two get involved.

You do wonder who leaked the letter of funding?

RE: Takeover - Peachy - 01-29-2024

My guess is Farnell has cosied up to Hearn in the hope that the Warm front loan element might make it an easier deal for Lai to do. Hearn in return has probably been promised some sort of part ownership that he could never have dreamed of and his ego has gone through the roof.

This is a worrying story given Farnells background. I just hope it's all bullshit and they are just chancing their arm.

2 months and 2 days premature.
