Strangled down legside. Is there a more spawny dismissal in cricket?

How many no balls are Aussies bowling?

Ashes on the TV and Bears v Lancs on the tablet. Bostin'.

Nothing he could do with that. But if this pitch starts misbehaving that only plays into our hands. Anything over a 180 lead and we could win by an innings given the conditions Australia will bat in tomorrow and Sunday (assuming Saturday is a write off). If the pitch wants to help out, then even better.

Ultimately that loss at Edgbaston when the game was in the bag could be a deciding factor

This pitch is still doing plenty

I'd take us getting anywhere near the Aussie score and quickly, then we'll try and make it a one innings shoot out

They are the best side in the world, comfortably, so to run them so close when arguably catching has been the only difference between the teams, especially given our injuries will be a decent effort regardless IMO

Cuzer

I think the only way we win is getting 150 lead and bowling them out bloody quick (and hoping there’s a few hours play Sunday)

Cuzer, told ya we could do it! It's on!

(I didn't actually think we would either  Big Grin)

Fair play, mad day's scoring

Alas I've a horrible feeling the weather will ruin anything

Bit of play tomorrow, no chance Saturday and Sunday wll be sketchy at best...............as it currently stands anyhow

Let's hope for a Michael Fish moment

Bat till tea tomorrow. Try and hit another 150/170ish then try and bowl em out in what will be stop start conditions.

No way we’ll bat that long.

Smacking it everywhere in the morning to get 100/120, give us a lead of 180-200 and put them in to face 2-3 overs before lunch.

That’s what I reckon they’ll try and do.

T20 mode from the off tomorrow and then declare at lunch. If we can knock 4/5 over then we’re in business, even if there’s only 3.5 days of play.

Can’t see us batting till tea unless the weather interrupts. If we start on time and keep wickets in hand can only see us batting until 1 hour after lunch at most. With wickets in hand we will score at least 200 in that time and we will need to declare because of the diabolical weather for Saturday.
Mind you I think we will be lucky to start on time tomorrow. Weather looks crap in morning.

Yeah that’s my take. Could get 150 more by lunch (or in 2 hours, whenever that may be in the day with rain around), a lead of over 200.

Then it’s game on!
