Would be a real show of lack of intent to sell MJ

Of course unless we then invest 5-10m in this window to bring in 3/4 new starters.....

I don't think we will sell MJ as it's unlikely anyone will match the value he's currently worth to us in terms of his consistent supply of assists - whilst he may not fit perfectly into ER's preferred formation, ER is pragmatic enough to find a way to include the league's most creative player!

We've also done decent transfer business when money has been involved IMO - I know the Palmer and Fellows sales were disappointing but we had NO choice - they had to be done, and we didn't get the offers we needed, and given how well aware of our needs the buying clubs would have been, we were never going to get the best offers.

When we've had a little more wiggle room (Furlong, Heggem...) we have extracted very decent fees, so I've no doubt that should we sell MJ, it would be due to a ridiculous offer being made.

This could be key. If ER is promised funds for a genuine RWB, he may see it as a no brainer. It would have to go perfectly though, because, if we sell MJ and bring in the right footed version of SIJ, then that will not go down well!!

Another one to cross of the list...Dan Neil off to Ipswich...with the signings this window they will surely be 1 of the teams going up

Oh to be in a position next season of bringing in players of that calibre!

If we sold MJ for 7-10 million and managed to get 2 lightening quick forwards. I would not be heartbroken. As we really struggle for real pace.

Getting rather green eyed seeing various deals go through while all we've had is a 2nd/3rd string keeper through the door.

Surely to god we've got to get some half decent in, even if it's just on loan.

How many genuine RWBs are there. And ones that are available to sign, even less.

If it was May, I’d agree, but in the final days of January, and in a relegation battle, I’d keep Mikey!

Completely agree. As we won't get the 2 forwards now.

Shame that the only link is outgoing. Is it another Fellows?
