RE: Summer Transfer Window Thread - Lurker#3 - 10-12-2020 The biggest thing about Grant is his ability to shoot early and with no back lift. It reminds me of how Odemwingie use to get lots of his goals. We very much need that skill set to get us goals from half chances which non of our other forwards seem able to get. It reminds me of how Odemwingie use to get lots of his goals. One of the areas we really miss is Odemwingie’s ability to hold up the ball. Whilst not in a traditional back to goal way, he’d take it into the channel until Mulumbu or Morrison broke into the area... but also defenders knew he had the ability to beat them and still head towards goal... this something I hope Grant will add, especially with Gallagher breaking into the box. RE: Summer Transfer Window Thread - Hopalong - 10-12-2020 Dowling appears to be thrashing round like a shark in the bath, let's hope it's just an act ![]() (10-12-2020, 02:06 PM)Tambag Wrote:(10-12-2020, 01:43 PM)Birdman1811 Wrote: Grant is similar to Robinson except has a bit more strength to his game while Robinson relies completely on pace. RE: Summer Transfer Window Thread - Hopalong - 10-12-2020 Ayew 'wide of the mark' according to the Brum Mail. Aye his shooting's a bit shite! RE: Summer Transfer Window Thread - SW4Baggie - 10-13-2020 Louis Sibly off to Leeds for £10m apparently It’s a real shame we don’t have any money as there are some really bargains out there at the moment. RE: Summer Transfer Window Thread - wba13 - 10-13-2020 Breakthrough,Could Grant be on his way to WBA Reports in Yorkshire stating we have had a breakthrough in talks with Huddersfield, with a loan to buy reported fee between 16 to18 mill. This is coming up in other Media outlets also. I have believed all along that this would happen now perhaps it’s close. 3 days to go still hoping for a right back. Was always going to happen as he's told them he wants to sign for us hence him being left out. Now get Deeney and we're cooking on gas!
