Andre Ayew would allow Pereira to move inside to his best position. I'd be very happy with Ayew, but only if that's separate from getting Grant in up top

Andre Ayew is being linked by numerous sources, I believe this is to get Huddersfield to take our terms for Grant or we move on. We have to have a back up plan and Ayew , Deeney and Gray have always been available but we have consistently said we want Grant.

Against West Ham away shortly after he signed when he was 21.
2nd goal is superb.

What has to be remembered is Hudds were bottom when he signed in the Prem and bottom 3 nearly all last season but he still scored 23 goals.

Grant is similar to Robinson except has a bit more strength to his game while Robinson relies completely on pace.
I can see why Grant is very much the main target, he should suit us brilliantly, could have done with him last year for sure. He also creates a lot of his goals himself, something we are going to need when teams realise stopping Grady and Pereira stops us completely.

Swansea want Ayew off their wage bill, and Bilic has spent a lot of money on him and worked with him before so it’s easy to see the link.
I like Ayew a lot, so if we could pick him up on a 1+1 deal, or on a season’s loan alongside Grant I think we have an excellent set of forward options, but guess it’ll be one or the other.

There’s a very good player in Kongolo, and he can play at LB too which would allow us to play Bran in the middle and Furlong at RB
