We were being linked with him in the summer, might be a bit of 2+2 linking on this one

If he can play in midfield without a zimmer frame I'm all for him.

Kai-Jana Hoever has joined Sheff Utd on loan from Wolves - sure it’s not a cheap loan, but hed have been perfect for us if we want to switch to 3421 as is anticipated. Can play both wingback roles and carries a real goal threat!

Cody Dramah also being linked with a move to Stoke from Hull… another one that would add pace to our right side

Mate of mine who’s a makem said he looked good for them in the championship, and they would have been in for him if they hadn’t gone up.  They reckoned he wasn’t ready for the premiership and he ended up at Minnesota, via good loan spell at Hibs. From what he told me the Sunderland fans all rated him.

I think Triantis won player of the season when at Hibs and also got some kind of Scottish FA football writers award. He had a very good loan spell either way

One of the quietest transfer windows regarding rumours for our club I think we’ve ever encountered. 2 weeks to go and there is hardly anything being said regards transfers in or out.
Is this a good or bad sign.

Some blues fan at work has just said to me that he has heard they are interested in JG - not sure if its been mentioned in here yet. Also not sure how much meat is on the bone on this one

It's not just us, I think there is a general realisation these days that there is no decent value to be had in the January transfer window. Past years have largely demonstrated that it is pretty rare that doing much business at this time of year actually has any great impact on a team's season. If you look at the moves so far this month the majority are just in the lower divisions and predominantly younger players making loans moves.

There will probably be the usual flurry of activity on the very final day of the month but I have no real expectations that we'll do any business and won't be getting worked up if we don't.

Why do some posters just put initials, some of us thick bastards have no idea who you’re on about.
