Albion in latest Sunderland link

West Brom have been linked with a second move for an out of favour Sunderland player.
Earlier in the window Albion were said to be interested in a move for Sunderland midfielder Dan Neil.
But now it appears they also have eyes for Luke O'Nien.
The defender was a big part of the side that won promotion to the Premier League - but Sunderland are now prepared to let him go in the window.
West Brom, along with Birmingham City and Coventry City are keen on his signature.

Can't stand O'Nien. Annoying little gob shite. Average player too.

O'Nien is 31, so ideal for us!

Is O9 a full back, centre back or Centre mid? Everything says different. I thought he was a midfielder.

Ultimate utility man, has played a bit of everything in his career.

I like him as he’s a proper shit house, but we already have a younger version of him in Molumby.

ANY money we have has to do on a dynamic, energetic box to box midfielder that carries a goal threat and a pacy wide forward who can hit 5-6 goals between now and the end of the season.

O’Nien has played centre half for ages now. We truly do not need another CH albeit he is decent.

I think he's decent enough but something that annoys the shit out of me is that whenever he plays commentators feel compelled to say "You know what you are getting with Luke O'Nien".

?️ West Brom are reportedly interested in signing Lyon's backup goalkeeper Rémy Descamps this January. Hull are also keen.

If we want a keeper I’d rather look at Mads Hermansen. West Ham paid £20m for him from Leicester and he can’t get a game. Played first 4 games then dropped, better keeper than the chance they’ve given him and West Ham trying to bring in another keeper.

Not sure if we could afford as likely to be in about £40k-£60k per week.
