Like going to the supermarket in London, everyone frightened to look at one another and virtual silence, how shopping should be.

I'll give that a go for next week's shop
I'm all lost in the supermarket. I can no longer shop happily.
Went to the local supermarket yesterday. Took about 45 minutes to get in as they are Controlling the number of people allowed in at any one time. Just one person allowed, no couples or family groups etc.Have to wipe trolley handle before you start then use hand sanitizer then put on plastic gloves. Shelves are reasonably well stocked. Every other checkout is shut to keep people apart and they have erected Perspex barriers between checkout operators and shoppers. Shoppers have to pack their own shopping.

I'm all tuned in, I see all the programmes

I save coupons from packets of tea.

Pretty sure they wouldn't appreciate me driving about 30 miles to do my shopping though :0 Smile

Which one did you go to?
Went auckland central countdown friday and maybe the best shopping experience weve had there, queued for about 4 mins to get in and the shop was fully stocked and it was peaceful, relaxing and in all honesty all the customers were very courteous!
Couldn't believe it.

Went to Birkenhead New World. Was also fairly relaxed, wait to get in but the sun was shining so all good. Bit strange with the barriers and lots of people wearing masks but will get used to it as it becomes the new norm.
Maybe i was lucky but queued at Sainsburys Friday for about 15 mins and plenty of choice when i got in .Weather was pleasant as well so theres no chance of queuing anywhere today as its bastard freezing .
