Who needs greedy Ferguson, when weve got the Irish Pele......the Irish Pele.....the Irish Pele

On a serious note, really have a feeling O'Shea could be a very very decent player in the coming years.
A natural replacement for Ferguson
Watching the game on the computer he looked impressive.
Not the biggest, so like Ferguson could be more suited to playing at full back, or perhaps even midfield where he featured a lot while on loan at Hereford. Clearly a good footballer.

He's 6 ft 2". Probably doesn't look tall compared to the giants Hegazi, Bartley and Ajayi
Like I said in another thread it will be interesting to see how both his and Ferguson's careers progress from here. Not in terms of money and moves but in terms of minutes and progression.

O'Shea has had a lot of suitors for his signature but has chosen to stay. He sees the best thing for his career is to remain with us. Strange then that he hasn't had as many minutes or as much opportunity as Ferguson yet he wants to stay.

Conversely Ferguson has been backed and trusted by Bilic from the outset. A manager has come in and really supported him. He has an amazing opportunity with us to build a huge future. Sign for us now on very good wages and he can be a first team regular in the Premier league should we get there. If not he will get a megabucks move to the Prem anyway. What an opportunity. Instead hes let himself be dictated to by his agent and sees a better future by signing for a big foreign club and picking up some big bucks fast. Good luck to him. Greed is a strange thing but I'm convinced he's making a bad call for his football career if not his back balance.

Time will tell.

I wonder if O’Shea’s decision to stay has been influenced by Ferguson deciding to leave, giving him a more immediate opportunity?
I really like him as a player and has the makings of a future captain I feel.
Took the smack to the face well. The hurling obviously works a treat for getting used to that kind of impact.

Didn’t think he was that tall. Always had him as about bang on 6 foot or slightly under. As you say, probably just seems to alongside our collection of giants.
