Jones on the ropes by all accounts, and shortlist is apparently;

Michael O’Neill
David Moyes
TTITC
Mark Robins

Not exactly a thrilling set of options - assume Hughton has decided it’s not worth risking his reputation.

“We can reveal that former boss Tony Pulis is very much in the thinking of club owner Peter Coates,”
Couldn’t happen to a shittier club. Ha ha.
Dream Killer will have a fooking heart attack!      Big Grin
I'd have Robins.
It would give me a wry smile ?

It's not easy walking round with this dirty black cloud hovering above me.

I can imagine!  Angel
Pulis should never be allowed to manage a football club again. He really is a horrible character who does more damage than good, yet is somehow lauded as a god by the media.

He has a weird sect of supporters on the Oatcake who, just as they did when he was previously at Stoke, claim that "only Tony can save us." They disappear whenever it's pointed out what he did at the Albion, but then pop up on another thread making the same claims. Mostly I'm sure they do it just to wind up the majority.

If he wasn't personal friends with Peter Coates, I'd dismiss the idea of him returning completely. But he is, so I can't.

Maybe they appreciate you were going absolutely nowhere as a club until he got you promoted?
