Doesn't impact us at all aside from the comedy value. But 'our nightmare was worse than your nightmare' are losing 1 nil at home to Middlesbrough.

This is their game in hand and if it ends in defeat they will sit a point above Huddersfield who are 22nd.

3 points separating 23rd Sheffield Wednesday and Plymouth in 17th. The next 5 places up to Sunderland in 12th are a further 2 to 6 points ahead and have probably all got enough to avoid a major scrap.

FWIW Boro would move to within effectively 6 points (GD) of Norwich who occupy the last play-off place.
I do worry for Blues. I also believe that having Mark Venus who is making a name for himself as a journeyman caretaker manager, is not going to help them at all, an unfortunate fact, but a fact it remains.
I think Boro could be the team that makes a late surge for the play-offs

I agree.

If we did get to the final and 3rd place team lose SF - would you prefer Boro to Hull Cov or Norwich?

Personally think they're a combination of too far back and too much traffic between them and 6th place. Would need 4 teams to totally drop off their form not just 1 or 2.

Hull then cov. Boro and Naaarge be harder than those two.

Fortunately I think Boro have just come too late

Not sure I agree - Hull are having a tricky spell currently, but I think they have more match winners than both Cov and Boro. Norwich are similar to us, some quality but well coached and capable of churning out wins.

Think of all of them I’d rather play Cov, Boro, Hull then Norwich.
Hull have match winners but Cc has them figured out. Not sure he has it over Wagner or Carrick to the same degree
Never mind who we want to avoid. They'll all want to avoid us.

Ultimately, there will be 4 very good teams in the play-offs who are there on merit. It's a battle with no easy games (clichéd rubbish, but it holds true).

Just enjoy the ride.

Dunno about that, Peterborough absolutely strolled through the first leg of the semi last season and Sheffield Wednesday had it even easier the following week...

Lost. Watford at home for them on Saturday. New manager bounce? Surely their fans are twitching now. Sanderson throwing up the Zulu seems a long time ago...
