England flying to India for a 5 test series 3 DAYS before the 1st test in Hyderabad!!!..
Some preparation for going to the toughest place to actually win a series Indians rightly will be going for the jugular and a 5-0 win Huh Angry
It is neither, unfortunately it is illustrative of the importance of Test matches.
I don't think you're allowed to use the A word in connection with Baz'n'Ben's brave warriors. They're changing the way Test cricket is played, you know.

We're on a slippery slope IMO. Rob Key will leave us in very poor shape when the ageing core of exceptional players in the current squad hang up their boots.
The ECB and Rob Key are clowns. They've shown they have no clue how to prepare adequately for big series or tournaments. The preparation for the Summers Ashes and the WC were farcical. Now this?

Lessons aren't being learnt, which is extremely worrying, if not unsurprising.

Pathetic.

Got to agree with you on the preparation front Josh.

The saying 'fail to prepare, then prepare to fail' springs to mind.

We should have played a couple of games in the conditions before the series starts. Makes a difficult task even more difficult now. Let's hope the bad weather kicks in from the off!
The ECB have done this for years. Way back to the winter 2006 Ashes when their worldwide schedule was so hectic, half the key players were injured before even finally getting to Australia. It's not arrogance, it is pure stupidity on behalf of the ECB.
Arrogance and stupidity are very similar.
What respect for "Barmy Army" fans have paid a lot of money to attend tests the Dharamshala in particular test first 4 days almost sold out!!...
What you've not included there is the extended training camp the team are having in Abu Dhabi prior to arriving in India.

Preparation for all test tours has gone down the drain in recent years. We play teams of local farmers whenever we go down to Australia and we regularly have players preparing for and even missing the start of home summers playing in the IPL.
I confidently forecast 5-0 England
