Can any of you Southern based Baggies help me?

I need to travel to and from the Midlands to London on the 4th and 5th October which would normally have meant going there and back by train.

Now there is a train (but not Tube) strike on the 5th so I need to find an alternate approach.

Does anyone know any decent options for parking at North London tube stations so I can park my car there overnight and then get home on the second day?

Thanks for your help
There is a tube station with a big car park not far off the M40, Stanmore I think, paid £3.00 or whatever to park for the day, I remember the train went past Barnets ground. Alternatively, my Sister - In - Law lives in Watford, think the tube goes from there.
You can get a National Express coach to London Victoria very cheaply.
Where in London do you need to be?
Park at the outdoor underground station in High Barnet, just off the A1/M25 junction. It costs around £6.50 a day and is very safe. Get the tube from there to wherever in London, use your bank card to 'pay as you go' through the turnstiles at each station you use as its much cheaper.

Brilliant thanks guys.

I need to be in the City so I think I go can to Stanmore and then across to the City via Baker Street.
Can’t you walk there and back? Big Grin.
Cockfosters is an option: https://www.ncp.co.uk/find-a-car-park/ca...s-stn-tfl/

You may need to go around the M25 a bit but on the flip side it is closer to going into actual London than if you get on at Watford end.

Stanmore info for you: https://www.ncp.co.uk/find-a-car-park/ca...e-stn-tfl/

Sorry I can't check the info myself as I do not have access to the internet.
Hillingdon also a potential option close to A40.
