I set up a gym at golf course. Was going really well, then happened to walk in on the director knobbing the front of house manager, next thing you know the Fitness Manager was released from his services. Funny that!

Exactly the opposite. First job was a shop assistant at a DIY shop when they still had them in High Streets. Caught the Manageress being tonked by one of the Reps in the stock room. Got moved up a couple levels on the pay scale and a bonus for 'sales' not to tell her husband who was in the shop daily.
TBH I never would have done so.
She was as fit as.... and looking back I reckon I could have had a bash too but I was a very naïve 17 and she was considerably more 'worldly' than me.

In that vain, a lad became my boss when working a crappy weekend job because the owner's missus had taken a shine to him... Turned out he used to go round the owner's house after his shift and give her one whilst he watched in the corner enjoying the spectacle!

How much is membership lad? Are the greens decent?

I was sacked by the butchers because I kept putting my Willy in the bacon slicer. What did he do with the bacon slicer? He sacked her too.
Retired now, but I've been sacked more times than Jordan.

His exact words were... if you don't don't work over(for free), I will rip off your head and spit down your neck! I told him to f off and went home. Awful company and work culture, he's probably a Tory MP now!

Jacob Rees-Mogg?

My first job was in a factory that made mirrors. I left not long after. Just couldn't see myself doing the job after all.
Got sacked from a job on the dodgems, currently in a legal dispute…
Was sacked, re employed and demoted in the space of 24 hours when I had a part time job as shelf stacker at Asda in Tipton. The Friday before Christmas I called in sick so I could go to Villa away (87/88 season)
They rang home just to confirm their suspicions whilst I was on my way. My mum answered the phone and truthfully told them where I was. Half an hour later they rang back and told my mum that I'd been sacked.
The following morning I got another phone call telling me that I could have my job back as they were short staffed as long as I could do a late afternoon shift on the saturday as a trolley boy which is where I stayed until I left a year later.
It was a blessing in disguise as you were left to your own devices, management couldn't be arsed to check outside and the other "trolley boy" seemed to br permanently stoned smoking several spliffs during his shift behind the store whilst marvelling over the sights and lights of the lost city
