Shit bowling by Jordan and Woakes at the end but top draw stuff from NZ and can still keep cricketing integrity in not going for the single with Mitchell/Neesham. The one top side I'm not gutted we've lost to.
Great chase that - didnt fancy them at halfway.

Pakistan v Australia interesting one tomorrow
The momentum shift from that Jordan over cost us - one of the worst overs he will ever bowl

The fact though we got so close to a final with our Roy and Mills plus having stokes and archer not available shows just how good the squad is. No other side would have coped with losing 4 such players
That last 9 overs from NZ was brilliant. Deserving winners today
Fair play to NZ they were robbed 2 years ago and got their revenge today, Jordan and especially Woakes should hang their heads in shame.
Fair play to the Kiwis, hope they go on and win it. This group of players they have is phenomenal

Wish some would give praise where it’s due, we won to years ago in a different format and deservedly so none of this New Zealand was robbed they all new the rules. Today the better side won just like we did deservedly. Stop scapegoating. Woakes and Jordon both had decent tournaments.

Nobody more pleased than me that England won that day but the overthrow incident was a shocking decision and I would have been fuming if it had happened the other way, and today's bowling I've just called it as I see it.
I've been out all day, T20 hardly my bag just watching now whilst catching up on some work emails etc, our 160 odd looked a bit light as I'm just at the halfway stage so no surprise to see we've fell short

Never an issue losing to NZ who play cricket the right way, almost felt we peaked way too early in this tournament, the injuries hurt us badly

Miss is as good as a mile!   Big Grin

Seriously though this could have been a final and though it grates me to say it, Pakistan beating the Aussies would be the right conclusion now. In T20 don't think there is much between the elite nations. Just wish India had shown some of the application and desire so ably demonstrated by the Kiwis. Well played!
