I really fancy Costa Rica and found a decent deal to go there year before last. It was a multi-centre holiday with a couple of days in San Jose, couple in the mountains, rainforest and then 5 days on the beach at the end. Looked wonderful and when presented to the wife and kids I got:

"What? We'd have to change hotels?"

I confess I'd probably have been drinking heavily myself but then my kids are probably used to that. Not a massive fan of strip clubs, mind.
My only ever school trip was a day out to Stokesy castle in Shropshire, it rained all day, not sure if we even got off the coach it was that bad.

+1.

Browns in London (£1 in a beer jar to watch a bird dance on stage) is ok for one hour and then I will be trying to persuade my mates to leave so we can go some decent bars / rooftop bars.
My school had the pleasure of being the first to be banned for shoplifting from the souvenir shop at W Mids Safari Park.

Those cuddly zebras are irresistible.

We went there, plus somewhere else in Shropshire but I can’t remember the name. It was a place with lots of hiding places, for royals - have no idea why.
Just had a flash of inspiration - Boscobel House

Sure it wasn’t for Catholic priests? We always seemed to go to Hartlebury to see a bloke make horseshoes and some old dear make corn dollies. I think I’d have preferred Costa Rica somehow.

Never understood this at all... I can’t stay in the same place for more than 3-4 days! Can’t remember the last holiday I had where I stayed in one place!
