It’s obvious that it’s more about not being able to attract anyone good enough on the basis of short term deals etc

I think they’d be happy to pay the wages (as they did with Sturridge & others) but so far clubs won’t allow players to leave and if they are players don’t fancy us

Very few players have moved so far

He got lied to by the cunts in charge.

Nope
Who knows? Some on this post seem to think they know what's going on at boardroom level.
None of us know what's going on, none of us can get to the ground to see games. Never have we been so detached.

Not sure why we’re that much worse at home - away results & performances haven’t been bad

Apparently heading for worse top flight defensive record in over 50 years
And yet there are people who are still saying his appointment was an 'ambitious' one. Only if your ambition was to make an already weak squad even worse.

Your point about away games I question mate.
The Wolves display was the typical 'Derby' effect in my opinion.
The bollocking the fans gave the players after the Blackpool defeat that resulted in Perreira making his tweets had a far greater affect than anything BFS did IMO.
They were hurt by the backlash - they should be - and they played accordingly against a Wolves team in poor form.

He has without exception made us worse in every part - from formation and tactics to player development. That is ambition I could do without.

Some people do know what's going on dowling and his cronies are fucking charletons.
The whole lot need to go because this shit storm won't go away when we get relegated.

You really think the players read what we say and give a fuck

Short term move who has not been backed.

Totally agree.

Yep.

I don't think we would have conceded that many under Pulis
Chelsea at home ffs
They listened enough to respond to the media noise.

I do believe they listen and I think they care more than most will give credit for.

Not as much as you or I would give perhaps but I do believe it had more effect than anything BFS said or did.
Who's to say we wouldn't have conceded more goals if we hadn't sacked Bilic? There's a good chance I reckon.
Great thread this. Let's blame the new coach for not getting more out of a squad that we already knew were unfit, unmotivated and just not very good. Let's pretend that everything was rosy before the completely unnecessary sacking of the previous coach, who was just about to turn things around. Let's ignore the gaping holes in our squad which entirely lacks a spine.

Truth is, this current crop of players are both useless and spineless. Idle, self-satisfied, too ready to believe their own hype. How devastated did Ajayi, Sawyers, Gibbs look when their lapses led directly to goals? Not at all. They don't care, this is what Allardyce is up against. But let's make it his fault.
