Given that he knows what he needs and given that those needs don’t appear to be on the horizon, might he be tempted to say ‘fuck it’ and walk away?
Wouldn’t be surprised.
I wouldn't blame him one bit .
It would please the finger pointers on social media
There's a possibility of that if he was told he was going to be given £100m when we're promoted but he wasn't and he also knows that covid has stuffed us up a bit.

Also there's the issue of getting his pay out so in short this isn't going to happen.
I would if I were him.

Seeing as he had a nice (not so little) payout from his last position he doesn’t need the cash.
I think if he “walks” it ends any chance of him landing a “top job” in England. He needs to over achieve with the players he has at his disposal and come up with a game plan.
The big question is does he have the fight for this or is a tepid window going to translate into tepid displays?

There's an argument to say he proved that when we got promoted. Expecting him to keep the same team in the Premier League is just deluded.

No, I'm sure there are about 85 managers in the same or far worse boat.

Anyway there's still 7 hours to go plenty of time to sign a couple of 'SENATORS'   Big Grin

And then the EFL window til 16th.   Would you be happy if we ended up signing Deeney and King or Grant?
