Yeah but you’re very much preaching to the converted on here though. Another way to look to look at it is what business is it of yours and what place is it of yours to judge? How someone chooses to identify is entirely down to them, fuck all to do with anyone else. To start going on about genetics and the DNA being wrong is a pretty grim stance to take.
Between this and the “proper English names” post a couple of weeks back I’m starting to form an opinion.

With all due respect, it’s all about opinions and arguing pros and cons.
I do seriously question though trying to create life from the sperm of a dead teenager who clearly had real issues.
To create life in all but recent times you had to find a willing partner, but this is now the stuff of sci fi, but people feel frightened by the closing down of discussion by the ‘correct opinion set in stone’ PC brigade. I welcome change, but like all critical thinkers will question some stuff I deem a step too far. Equally I’ll listen to counter arguments.
All of us won’t always get on in this forum Duffers, at times, but by and large, I’ve avoided conflict in my years here by respecting others thoughts and staying above name calling and petty sniping. Hope you understand and no offence meant to you.
It's all our business if they expect it to be funded via the NHS, if they're paying themselves then fair enough.
