Saw them at the Odeon in 79 supported by the Cure and Spizzenergi. I’m certain that after the Cure finished, Robert Smith also played guitar for Siouxsie that night

I was there too, and you're right in that Robert Smith was standing in on guitar, after John McKay and Kenny Morris had quit on the spot halfway through the tour after a bust up during a record signing event in Aberdeen. Budgie had been hastily drafted in on the drums.
