You can't make this shit up.

The two largest recipients in the UK have paid less Corporation Tax in the UK than my business.

Crony capitalism at its very worst. This is the bank bail out all over again. And just like last time, it is us who will pay for it.

Least worst.

Tenders required?
The Conservatives and Cronyism? Quelle Surprise!

They've also given out loads of contracts recently to small firms with no tendering process.

Yep didn’t one company get a £100m + contract but is allegedly worth circa £50k
Makes a bit of a nonsense of the policy of setting a lower rate of Corporation Tax than other comparable G7 economies, supposedly to create an environment more likely to attract business. Hardly matters what the rate is if the tax isn't being collected; in fact, maybe that's the real attraction.

Who'd have guessed? Any chance that this can be spun as a legacy of the previous Labour government? It's only been just over 10 years.

Nothing will ever outdo the Labour party's gift to the banks (and the Tories acquiescence)

Giving £108m to a pest control firm with 16 employees to purchase PPE during the height of the current crisis is pretty close.

Is there a list anywhere on the net showing the corporation taxes companies pay each year in the UK?

That's just to one firm without tender, and it was clearly ill-suited to conduct the job it was assigned to do so shouldn't have gotten any of the money. Another £235m was given to a French firm without tender who were supposed to provide free school meals and has failed to do so with the consequence being that vulnerable children are going hungry. The Albion Foundation have done a better job.
