Livermore's dramatic late winner vs Spurs. Scenes at the Hawthorns. One of the few highlights that season. My moms last ever Albion game as well before she died in an RTA just over 3 weeks later. So a pretty poignant game for me.
It was my, then 7 year old, daughter's first game. It went against all the "rules" in terms of what many remember their first game experience
 It was sunny (not raining)
It was hot (not freezing)
We scored in the last minute (not conceed late on)
We won (not lose)
We were give hope which as they say is what kills you What a great game and she still talks about it now.

Since then I've taken her to around 5 games a season
Was a real shame the midweek game sent us down, as if it had gone to the last day I think we’d have had more than a helping hand from Roy.

If only Brunt hadn’t put through his own net against Swansea... Big Grin

What a day.   My ST is on the back row of the BRE and the roof is super low.  Jumped up when it went in and put a right old cut in my head on the metal beam.   My memory of it, which still makes me laugh so I hope it's true (and not concussion), was Evans getting roundly booed when he was named (possibly wrongly ? ) as the scorer in the midst of the euphoria.

Sorry about your Mum pal btw.  Hell of a way to spend your last minutes at the old place, I guess..
The poor old bloke who sits in front of me in the Brummie ended up two rows in front.

He was fine by the way.

It's becoming a trend this.  I've got a permanent scar on my shin from some maniac launching himself 2 rows when the 3rd went in at Anfield in the cup.  Which pitched me a row further right into the shitty plastic seats in front and another football ground badge of honour.  I don't remember all this happening in the 70s. Safe seating , eh ?
My lad didn't fancy it so I was there on my own. The moaning bloke sat next to us inexplicably hugged me despite treating me like a no mark for years, only to return to blanking me again by the start of the next season. It felt all very doable when the whistle went - a massive lift only for it to be in vain.

Very sorry to hear that CIM.

I ruined a pair of jeans at Leicester a few seasons back on the seat in front, and nearly got pushed over the small glass railing in the second tier at Villa Park when Saido scored the season they went down.

At least it's not happened at Newcastle though, eh? That's a drop and a half.
I've got the scar on my right shin to this day as a result of Robinson's equaliser at Villa Bastard Park. Bosted the back of the seat in front mind.
